Badin Inn Golf Resort & Club (formerly named Stanly County Country Club), is a Resort/Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Badin, North Carolina.
Badin Inn Golf Resort & Club golf course first opened for play in 1922. The course was designed by V.C. Edminster and has been more recently been redeisgned by Ellis Maples.
Badin Inn Golf Resort & Club is a step back in time to the golden-age architecture of a classic 1920's resort. Amenities include a 18 hole golf course, driving range, lighted putting green, lodging, pool, tennis and a full service pub.
Badin Inn Golf Resort & Club golf course plays to a par of 71 and measures 6,336 yards from the longest tees. The course rating is 70.6 and the slope rating is 125.
$21 (cart included), played on Friday, June 2008 at noon
Course built in 1924 and is being updated. The adjoining inn (circa 1913) is a great place to stay and the prime rib on Saturday night is pretty good. The course is not long but you had better respect it.

We have played this course 3 times, and love it. More like a mountain course, built very near a small town, with lots of flair. Great views, and tough holes! They keep the course in country club condition.
